Apple and Samsung continue to dominate the cell phone market with their newest models, the Apple iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10/10 Plus, respectively. However, some newcomers to the smartphone wars include Google’s Pixel 4/4 XL, Huawei’s P30 Pro, and T-Mobile’s OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren. Later in 2020, look forward to the launch of the iPhone 12, OnePlus 8, P40 Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy S20.

Improved Photography – Smartphone owners are now getting professional-quality photos thanks to two separate camera lenses—one wide-angle and one telephoto—in addition to an extra sensor that helps to improve photos taken in low-light conditions. New phone processors will be able to support up to 200-megapixels cameras and improved slow-motion and high-resolution video, while post-processing software will allow users to manipulate photos more easily.
Better Battery Life – Using new materials and technology to improve the cycling durability and charge life of batteries, smartphone manufacturers are also learning how to reduce the draw on batteries, even under the toughest conditions, to extend battery life after a charge even further. New charging systems are also making it faster to get a charge on your battery when you’re on the go.
5G Speed – While 5G was introduced in 2019, it’s becoming more common across all manufacturers, providing lightning-fast downloads of large files, seamless video calls, amazing graphics, and split-second touch responsiveness. 120Hz screens will also provide crisp, detailed graphics saturated with color.
